The 2023 Ascenders New York Exhibition is a fictitious event put on by the Type Directors Club. The poster focuses on displaying one letter represented in either a literal or abstract sense, symbolizing a deeper meaning. I went with the concept of an unravelling ball of yarn, a metaphor for a world that is holding itself together with little support and slowly falling apart.
